Elasticsearch is an Enterprise Search Server based on Lucene.
DigaSystem can utilize Elasticsearch to get lightning speed full-text index capabilities.
Elasticsearch has some breaking changes in version 6.x and 7.x. Currently we support Elasticsearch 5.x, 6.x and 7.x.
As an example we install Elasticsearch 5.x on Debian 8 (Jessie) or 7.x on Debian 10. Installation on other Linux operating systems might slightly differ, also see Recommendations for Elasticsearch Integration.
