Available Binding Values in Content Manager

As part of Column Configuration, the binding values determines which metadata fields are linked to this column, for example, "Author" or "Media.length".

A list of all available values for the Binding key are found below.

Field SPOTLENGTH in section strings and XML format is provided only for compatibility with old versions and should not be used anymore.

  • 0 = standard entry (not a group),
  • 1 = group is a classical work with multiple parts,
  • 2 = group is a story with a sequence of media entries (standard group entry),
  • 3 = group is a story used in a (broadcast) schedule, containing a sequence of media entries that need to contain a text element,
  • 4 = group is a container for any type of members, the sorting does not matter,
  • 8 = stack = group is a sequence of audio elements to be played in the predefined order,
  • 16 = collection = group of elements from different tables.
  • 32 = group is a endpoint story
