ADSync is a software module for SAF 2.0. It allows to synchronize groups and users of an Active Directory to DigaSystem.
Inside ADSync you must configure the name of your Active Directory plus the path to the sub folder of your AD structure where the group policy is stored.
This is configured in one field called Path. It starts with the deepest entry and ends with the top level entry of a node.
For example:
Name of Active Directory = ad.MyCompanyName.com Folder of security groups = ad.MyCompanyName.com > Groups > Organization : DigaSystem (Name of the Security Group)
Configuration:
OU=Organization,OU=Groups,DC=ad,DC=MyCompanyName,DC=com
The input field for server can left blank because the Active Directory will deliver its Domain Controllers automatically.
