Question: Why can't a normal user (with limited rights) use DigaGrabber? I have installed the "Nero Burn Rights Installer", but ever since I installed Service Pack 2 on my XP workstation, the user cannot use DigaGrabber!
Answer: Users with restricted rights will be once again unable to access low level driver functions (in this case the ASPI driver) after SP2 is installed. In some cases, even the Microsoft Security Patches leading up to XP SP2 have been known to restrict these rights! The patch available from AHEAD: ftp://ftp6.nero.com/NeroBurnRightsInstaller.exe - must be installed again to allow access for users with limited rights.
Some customers don't want to use NeroBurningRights to setup the workstations for DigaGrabber. In this case it is possible to modify the local security settings by changing a policy.
Here are the steps to modify the policy:
