Why 'No Connection To MultiPlayer(1)'?

Question:
I have a problem with installation of Multiplayer. It says Fehler 536871681, and can't be started, so then my application has no connection with the player. What have I done wrong?

Answer:
This error appears when there is a problem with the device configuration of MultiPlayer.
You have to check, if the parameters "MmeDeviceX" (X is the number of the MultiPlayer device)have the correct values (physical device).

For example:
If you have only one soundcard in your workstation with only one channel, these parameters have the value "1"
MmeDevice1=1
MmeDevice2=1
MmeDevice3=1
MmeDevice4=1
...
If you have a multichannel soundcard or multiple soundcards you
can configure which MultiPlayer device should playback on which
physical device, e.g.,
MmeDevice1=1
MmeDevice2=2
MmeDevice3=3
MmeDevice4=4
...

You find these parameters inside your Windows-Registry or MultiPlayer.ini
(depends on your configuration).
