General Tab

A double click on any table entry opens the entry mask with one or several tabs containing different metadata. The following tabs are installed as default (but not necessarily visible according to the configuration):

Class

The entry class can be changed if other classes are allowed in the current table. The class defines which tabs are available in the entry mask; e.g. the tab "Music1" might only be visible in the "Music" class, if defined accordingly. If an item of a class not permitted in a table is dragged to the table, a blocker cursor will be displayed to explain the conflict.

Title

Shows the title of the table entry (not the file name).

State

System field, which is set automatically and only editable with the ADMIN account. The entry status can be:

Unknown
Current state is unknown; this is usually only displayed while creating a new entry before it is saved into the table.

Virtual
Database entry without associated audio.

Virtual, Available
A special virtual entry, whose media files can be ordered via DigaReplicator (without DigaReplicator this state is irrelevant).

Recording
An entry which is currently being recorded for which, however, a database entry has already been created.

Existing
An audio entry which exists in the table.

Evacuated
Archived entry which is not available online.

External
Entry for managing entries which are stored on non-digital media and will never be available online.

Requested
Entry has been requested but has not yet been replicated.
The entry status is also displayed on the page Input/output.

Incomplete
This state can be set, if a DigaReplicator transfer of this entry has failed and the file therefore is not completely downloaded (irrelevant, if no DigaReplicator is used).

Owner

This field allows access to this entry to be controlled at user and user group levels. However, this feature can be de-activated system wide.

All

The item is visible and editable to all users having access to the current table.

[User] (personal)

Other users can see the entry and preview it but cannot access the database entry and cannot edit the audio.

[User] Invisible

Other users cannot see the entry and therefore not open or edit it.

#[Group] (personal)

Every group the user is assigned to is listed. Other groups can see the entry and preview it but cannot access the database entry and cannot edit the audio.
