Documentation DPE Nano Services Home

The primary use case of DPE Nano Services is to enable web applications like ROAD clients or CAE to run in a non-enterprise environment, e.g. a mobile production unit or an offline notebook.

Therefore DPE Nano Services offer (a subset of) DPE web services in a more flexible way:

  • Cross-platform (Windows, Linux, Mac)

  • Flexible hosting (self-hosted, IIS, windows-service)

  • Flexible log store (DpeCoreDb or local file)

  • REST API is backwards-compatible to DPE

DPE Nano Services is also the foundation for an evolution of the DPE technology stack.
