• A breaking change in TP 6.1.2507.0 makes it impossible to run a GUI 6.1 with an older engine or vice versa. (Hint such a combination was never officially supported. Always run an engine and a separated GUI with the same version!)

Known problems

• For OnAIR TrackMixer no new version can be recommended. A support for the new node type EndpointStory is not ready yet.

Release highlights

A new type of regionalization has been introduced. Content for different regions can be stored in a new node of type "EndpointStory" and this content can be distributed to different stacks according to the region setting of a stack. The new SyncStart mode allows to start the content for each region at the same time. New internal events signalize when a regional leg starts and when it ends. A visualization of remotely running regional elements allows to monitor the load state and the playout on multiple TurboPlayers.

Breaking changes

• OIA-2270 For relative or synced starts TurboPlayer tried to use the “same” channel number (e.g. second channel) of a rundown. This does not help for synchronizing fader movements. Therefore, TurboPlayer tries now to use the “same” line number.

New features

• TP: Change BCS-Systems during runtime (EHFSI7-728, EHFSI7-763)

• Implementation of a new type of regionalization based on the new node type EndpointStory. There is a ton of new features. To mention the most important ones:

  • New node type EndpointStory can be handled and displayed by the GUI.

  • A new stack mode “Endpoints” was introduced for filling stacks by filtering the show rundown for specific endpoints/regions.

  • A new start mode SyncStart was introduced.

  • The logic, which picks the right channel for starting an element was modified.

  • New internal events if an EndpointStory starts/stops playing, other macro extensions.

  • Remote play info can be made visible in a new field in the rundown view of a GUI.

  • Remote load state info can be made visible in the same field.
