New/Changes/Fixed Issues
for 6.4.
Build 812.1
OIA-8250: An intermediate bug of version 6.4.812.0 was fixed: the tasks ConsistencyCheck, FileCheck and Import could no longer be triggered externally by generic broadcast messages.
Build 812.0
Bugfix: Import task: In version 6.2.790.0 the merge step of an import was modified to ignore the times of elements or groups in many new cases. This was applied in too many cases and as a result options or merge modes, which require an evaluation of the time of elements or groups, did no longer work. E.g. in merge mode “Find matching blocks of the import and the plan from the start time” wrong destination blocks/groups could be picked and content was possibly inserted into the wrong place. (CCD-45183/ OIA-7705)
Bugfix: Import task: When the option “Full block alignment for all imported classes” was set, the option “If destination is empty insert full list with structure” did not work and nonsense content was inserted.
Build 811.0
Bugfix: Installing BUS as a Windows service or uninstalling it and in doing so using the command line parameter “-c:…” for a specific configuration did not work. The -c parameter was ignored.
Bugfix: The “About BUS engine” box of the GUI displayed a wrong platform for DigaSQL.dll. - Bugfix: FileCheck task: Fixed access violation in FileCheck task when checking in day templates. (CCD-45417/ OIA-7848)
Build 810.0
New: Index task - The task will inform the index dll (currently: ElasticIndex.dll) after the initial build-up of an index was completed. This allows the dll to takeover an alias at this moment. (OIA-6971)
New: Index task: It was reported that the task might possibly receive invalid BCS notifications. In order to find out more, information about such a BCS notification is printed now to the log when debug logging is active.
Change: Index task: The task can now handle the case of an unreachable index server or a connection loss to the index server. So far, the task went to state "Incapable" and needed to be reset manually. Now, the task stops all operations and tries every minute to reconnect to the index server. If this succeeds, the task continues with crawling BCS (like when starting up). (OIA-6793)
Bugfix: Index task: When a rundown was completely emptied while the index task was not running and then the task restarted, the empty rundown was not handled and the formerly indexed child nodes remained in the index.
Bugfix: Index task: When the connection to BCS was lost during the crawling or fully-indexing phase, the task changed to state “incapable” and had to be restarted manually. Now the task tries to reconnect to BCS (or a buddy after a switchover) and then restarts with crawling. (CCD-45293/OIA7375)
