Introduction
Release 2026.1.0 is here!
We’re pleased to announce that Release 2026.1.0 is now available.
Release 2026.1.0 delivers smart workflows and enhanced performance across playout, editing and browser-based tools. From drag and drop support for elements in Content Manager to TurboPlayer to three-track production in the browser with CAE (Contextual Audio Editor), we continue our commitment to bringing the best parts of desktop and web technologies together, helping you streamline your daily operations.
Highlights include:
CAE (Contextual Audio Editor): Now supports three general-purpose tracks for browser-based production, along with text formatting for transcriptions.
WebDigAIRange: The Transition Editor is strengthened with an added input level for enhanced audio monitoring, easier navigation between transitions, clearer visibility of comments and metadata in the rundown and improved layout and stability.
MultiTrack, EasyTrack and Single Track editors: This release introduces a new keyboard shortcut for instant clipboard focus, adds the option to exclude specific VST effects from startup for improved stability, improves zoom behaviour during playback with a moving soundhead, and includes multiple fixes for crashes, marker handling, bulk saves, and Help menu links.
MultiRec-MTE: Correct mono and stereo recording behaviour and compatibility with older Waves plugin presets have been restored. VST2 plugin window sizing issues are resolved and first-launch crashes related to VST3 plugins are fixed.
TurboPlayer: Drag and drop is now supported for elements from Content Manager to TurboPlaxer (groups and stories to be supported next). TurboPlayer now supports triggering a stinger at the LinkIn position and an issue that occasionally prevented waveform display has been resolved.
ROAD: Added support for ASIO 24- and 16-bit integer (LSB). Startup times in offline mode have been optimised for a more efficient user experience.
FlexXml and FlexIE: 64-bit variants now fully supported.
As always, you’ll find more details and technical notes in LEARN, along with guidance on deployment and product lifecycle support.
