Accelerators (Shortcuts)

Click Accelerators to get more instructions on defining, reviewing, and modifying keyboard accelerators, also known as shortcuts or hotkeys.

• Keyboard accelerators allow access to functions using key combinations, often involving modifier keys like SHIFT, ALT, and CTRL.

• Functions can be searched alphabetically in a grid, and accelerators can be assigned, modified, or deleted for specific functions and editor screens.

• Users can export or import accelerator definitions, and reset to default settings if needed.

• Certain keys and combinations, such as the Print key and Ctrl+Alt+Delete, cannot be assigned as accelerators.

• Accelerators are inactive while typing in text fields or when certain dialogs are open, except for specific functions like "playback" and "stop".
