VII.2.2.1 Making a SSL Certificate

1. Double click on the 'Server Certificates' icon in the root directory of the IIS tree (it's in the IIS section, between 'Request Filtering' and 'Worker Processes', then click on 'Create Self-Signed Certificate' in the 'Actions' pane.
   

   

2. You will be presented with this dialog. Name it something convenient and click 'ok'.
   

   

3. All done.
