Pools

Each BroadcastServer has the following pools available:

General Pool – This is a list of entries which are available to all users. The entries are unsorted, or not in any particular order, and not assigned to any particular program.

Personal Pool – Access to a personal pool is only permitted by a user who logged in using the current password, provided the administrator grants the user access to a personal pool.

Creating a General Pool

1. Right-click in the show structure tree the [General Pool] folder, and then click [Manage]. The “Administration” dialog box opens.

1. Click [New].

2. Enter the title of the pool in the "Name" field.

3. Optionally, enter a short description in the "Info" field.

4. In the "Calculation of total duration" field, enter whether you want to base the length calculation on "Only audio duration" or "Audio + text duration".

5. Optionally, tick the checkbox next to "Time calculation active".

6. Click [Save] to confirm.

7. Repeat steps 1 – 6 for other pools.

8. Click [Close] to end the creation of new shows.

Time Calculation for Pool Active or Inactive

In the administration dialog, you can activate or deactivate time calculation for each pool node (general pool, personal pool, jingle groups, preproductions, day and show preschedules). If you deactivate time calculation, you can sort the list in DigAIRange by clicking on the column header.
