Filling a blank Template
After creating either a day or a show template, the next step is to fill the shows within the template with various placeholders which depict the show structure.
Filling a Day Template/New Story with a Group
To fill the day template/new story, first drag&drop the day template/new story you require to the broadcast table window for editing or double-click the day template/new story you require.
Right-click in the broadcast table window, and then click [New group]. The "New group" entry mask opens.
Enter the parameters you require.
Click [OK] to confirm.
The new group appears in the broadcast table window.
Editing a Group Later
Double-click the group in the broadcast table window. The group dialog box appears in the multiview window (below).
Enter the changes and parameters you require.
Click the [Disk icon] to confirm
Filling a Show Template with an Element
To fill a show in a day or show template, first drag&drop the show template you require to the broadcast table window for editing or double-click the show template you require.
Right-click in the broadcast table window, and then click [New element]. The "New element" dialog box opens.
Enter the parameters you require.
Click [OK] to confirm.
The new element appears in the broadcast table window.
Editing an Element Later
Double-click the element in the broadcast table window. The element dialog box opens in the multiview window (below).
Enter the changes and parameters you require.
Click the [Disk icon] to confirm.
Moving the Elements in the Broadcast Table Window
■ Move elements within the broadcast table window by drag&drop.
■ Copy elements by dragging the element while holding down the Ctrl key.
■ Move an element or selection of multiple elements to the top of a group by releasing the selected element(s) when an arrow points upward.
■ The element or selection of multiple elements moves to the end of a group when you release the selection when an arrow points downward.
